March 3, 2018, 6:31pm. Petty Theft. 18 year old black male, 57, seen on closed circuit security cameras placing a large bottle of alcohol into his backpack and proceeding to the exit without paying. The suspect was detained by security for questioning and merchandise retrieval, during which he appeared to be very argumentative and difficult. While in custody, the suspect was questioned and strip searched following standard protocols. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the Loss Prevention Officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $39.99 value recovered for the store without incident.
